In keeping with our mission to support and promote the arts in Greater Kalamazoo, the Arts Council provides a number of services to member artists and arts organizations.


Call to Artists: Artist or artist collaboration for the St. Thomas More Catholic Student Parish

St. Thomas More (St. Tom’s), the Catholic campus ministry parish in Kalamazoo, in collaboration with the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo is seeking proposals for a large piece of art to be created by a local artist, or collaboration of local artists to become a part of the permanent collection of St. Toms. Preference will be given to student artists and professors from the area colleges and universities. The Thriving Through the Arts Workshop Series is available for Arts Organizations.

Education Programs
Opportunities are available for K through 12.

Advocacy
Initiatives advocate fiscal and policy issues favorable to the arts on local, state and national levels.

Event Promotion
Community calendars keep people informed about what’s going on in Kalamazoo.
